SPAIN: BEFORE AND AFTER LOCKDOWN

As Spain enters its third week of lockdown and with this being extended until April 25th, Take a look at the comparison of life before and after lockdown across Spain.

From as recent as early March 2020, you can see cars and tourist buses lining the busy streets of Spain's capital city from Plaza de Neptuno:

This image taken this morning (8th April 2020) shows a stark difference in how the city is operating amidst the current covid-19 lockdown:

In Barcelona, you'd usually expect a packed out beach, as seen below from March 2018:

However, as captured on 8th April 2020, you can see the beachfront is empty due to the lockdowns in place:

The usually bustling Gran Canaria, loved for its beaches and resorts, is usually gearing up for its summer season but it looks very different when compared to the view taken in the last few days:
